WAMU 88.5 is the official radio station for American University and the NPR affiliate for the Washington D.C. area. Looking to build on its connection with its most loyal audiences, WAMU aimed to bring some creativity and fun to its branding and stewardship communications.
The WAMU team partnered with BCG Connect to build a new identity for its mascot, then highlight the fresh new designs with compelling new donor engagement. The fun, easily recognizable design gave an iconic new look to the nonprofit radio station’s fundraising communications. Campaigns included a creative stewardship piece for members and past donors, and corresponding artwork for social media.
